Sanjiv Puri Divisional Chief Executive

image of Sanjiv PuriSanjiv Puri is Divisional Chief Executive, India Tobacco Division. An engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, he joined ITC in 1986. Till 2000, Puri handled a wide range of responsibilities in eCommerce, Operations and Manufacturing in the Tobacco Division.

Before returning to the Tobacco Division in September 2009, Puri led ITC Infotech India Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of ITC, as Managing Director from May 2006 to August 2009. He is presently a Director on the Boards of ITC Infotech India Limited and its wholly owned subsidiaries in UK and USA.

Prior to this he was the Managing Director of Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary company of ITC in Nepal. He was responsible for diversifying the operations of the company into branded apparels , making Surya Nepal one of the largest private sector companies in Nepal.

He is Non Executive Chairman & Director of ATC Limited and Director on the Boards of King Maker Marketing Inc., USA and Tobacco Institute of India.

He is also a member on the Board of Governors, Media Research Users Council (MRUC).

Hemant Malik Chief Operating Officer, Cigarette Brands and Supply Chain

image of Hemant Malik Hemant Malik is Chief Operating Officer, Cigarette Brands and Supply Chain, India Tobacco Division. He joined ITC in 1989 after completing his MBA from IIM, Kolkata. He has worked in the Tobacco, Lifestyle Retailing and Foods Divisions of the Company. In 1995, he was designated Manager - Wills World Cup, the largest sponsorship event ever in India. He was seconded to BAT, London, in 1996 as the International Brand Manager. He returned in 1998. In 2000, he took over Retail Operations and worked towards the setting up of the first 25 Wills Lifestyle stores. In 2001, he moved to head All India Tobacco Sales contributing to the development of the FMCG Sales Network. In April 2002, he became the Head of Marketing of ITC Foods and has been responsible for the creation and development of brands like Aashirvaad, Sunfeast, Candyman, Kitchens of India, Mint-O and Bingo. He moved back to Kolkata in May 2008 to head the Trade Marketing & Distribution for ITC FMCG. In October 2012, he took over as the COO of Cigarette Brands and Supply Chain, India Tobacco Division.

Foods

Chitranjan Dar Divisional Chief Executive

image of C Dar C Dar joined the Foods Business in August 2008. He started his career in ITC's Packaging and Printing business in 1981. Dar is an engineer from IIT, Delhi and an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad. In 1998, he was seconded to the then ITC Bhadrachalam Paperboards Limited as head of Marketing and was elevated to the Board of ITC-BPL in 1999. He also took over responsibilities of the Materials function in 2001. In 2003, he joined the Lifestyle Retailing Business Division as its CEO and continued in that role till he moved to the Foods business as Chief Operating Officer. In August 2009, he took over as Divisional Chief Executive of the Foods business.

Murali Ganesan Executive Vice President, Finance & Information Technology

image of Murali Ganesan Murali Ganesan, a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, is Executive Vice President, Finance & Information Technology, of ITC's Foods Business.

After passing his CA, he joined ITC in 1986. Ganesan spent his initial years in Internal Audit where he was responsible for Systems Audit of the Company's various businesses.

In 1988, he moved to the Packaging & Printing business. His responsibilities included Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Indirect Taxes and Export & Treasury operations. In 2002, he moved to the Leaf Tobacco Division as Vice President, Finance & MIS, where he spent five years before moving to the Foods Business.

V L Rajesh Executive Vice President, Marketing and Exports

image of V L Rajesh V L Rajesh is Executive Vice President, Marketing and Exports, Foods Division. In 1990, he joined ITC soon after completing his MBA from IIM, Calcutta. Rajesh has spent his entire career, spanning 19 years, with ITC. After working for 10 years the Tobacco Division's Sales and Marketing function, he was assigned to the special projects team responsible for identifying new business opportunities for ITC, which led to the inception of the Foods Division in the year 2000. For 7 years, Rajesh was responsible for creating and expanding the Confectionery segment before taking up his present role in June 2008.

Ganesh Kumar Sundararaman Category Head, Staples and Snacks

image of Ganesh Kumar Sundararaman Ganesh Kumar Sundararaman is the Category Head, Staples and Snacks, ITC Foods Division. A Mechanical Engineer from Gulbarga University, he joined ITC as a Technical Pupil in 1991. He has handled various roles across factories in the Tobacco Division and has also handled a cross functional assignment as Human Resources Manager. He was assigned to the Special Projects Team in 2000 responsible for identifying new business opportunities for ITC, which led to the inception of the Foods Division. Ganesh was responsible for creating and expanding the Staples category with the Aashirvaad brand. He has assumed additional charge of the Snacks business since July 2008.

Paritosh Wali Category Head, Biscuits and Confectionery

image of Paritosh Wali Paritosh Wali is Category Head, Biscuits and Confectionery, Foods Division. He graduated from IIT Madras in 1991 and joined ITC from the campus. With extensive experience in ITC's Retail, FMCG and Packaging businesses across different geographies, Wali specializes in Business Strategy Development, Supply Chain, Change management and Quality Management. A Sloan Fellow from the London Business School, he took up his current responsibility in May 2009.

Prior to his current assignment, he was in the Tobacco business where he led large scale improvement programs and was responsible for talent induction and development of engineers from IIT. He was instrumental in institutionalizing Lean Management and Six sigma practices in the business. He also led the development of a comprehensive supply chain model for the Company's FMCG business.

In his previous stint he was seconded to the Lifestyle Retail business to work on their business strategy. He led the development of a quick response sourcing model and set up India's first JIT facility in the garment industry, which is now a case study in Kellogs School of Business on adaptive supply chains. Paritosh has held leadership roles in operations and led multiple change initiatives across the Tobacco and Packaging business - spanning BPR, introduction of MRP II etc.

Amitav Mukherji Vice President, Human Resources

image of Amitav MukherjiAmitav Mukherji is Vice President Human Resources at ITC's Foods Business Division. He joined ITC Limited in 1995 soon after completing his Post Graduation from XLRI, Jamshedpur.  He was sponsored by ITC to do his Master's in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management at Cornell University in 2005.

During his tenure with ITC he has managed a variety of assignments spanning employee relations, human resource management, sales and distribution and brand management. He has handled various roles across factories in the Tobacco Division and has also handled a cross functional assignment in the area of Marketing.

As HR Head of ITC's Foods Business, he has contributed to building HR systems and processes relevant to a start-up business with a focus on speed and adaptability.

Mukherji is actively involved in designing and teaching at Learning & Development programmes at the Corporate level. He is a Lifetime member of NHRD.

Vikram Khosla National Sales Manager

image of Vikram Khosla Vikram Khosla is National Sales Manager, Foods Division. He joined ITC in 2001 after completing his MBA from FMS, Delhi. Prior to his MBA, he had served the Indian National Army for 10 years. In 2002, he became Branch Manager for Guwahati, responsible for the North Eastern region for sales of all ITC products. From 2003 till 2006, he managed the trade marketing function of the Foods business in the Southern region. In 2006, he was elevated to the position of National Sales Manager for ITC's FMCG businesses.

Atul Chand Divisional Chief Executive

image of Atul ChandAtul Chand is the Chief Executive of ITC's Lifestyle Retailing Business Division. He has been with this business since its early days and spearheaded several strategic initiatives to create strong lifestyle brands and actualize the business growth objectives.

Atul has popularised fashion by associating Wills Lifestyle with the prestigious India Fashion Week and by championing the country's largest  ever Corporate - Designer tie-ups, to retail the co-creations in the stores nationally.

Before assuming charge as the Chief Executive in 2008, Atul was the Vice President - Marketing & Retail. In this role he anchored the creation of new Brands, established a nationwide Retail footprint, pioneered new concepts and redefined excellence in Customer Shopping experience.

An MBA from IMT Ghaziabad with an Economics Honours degree from Delhi University and schooling from St. Columbas Delhi, Atul joined ITC in 1988 in the Marketing function of the Tobacco Division.

During his tenure in the division, he handled a wide range of responsibilities in Brand management, Sales and was given the charge of pioneering Trade Marketing in ITC in the mid 90s. He had various stints in different geographies, held national roles and was responsible for driving the FMCG business in North India. In 2001, Atul moved to ITC's new initiative in Lifestyle Retailing, to head the Marketing & Retail function.

Atul is a member of the CII National Committee on Retail and a Board member of Retail Association of India. He is associated with several industry forums and actively participates at management institutes.

Lifestyle Retailing Business Division

Samindra Roy Head, Marketing & Retail

image of Samindra RoySamindra Roy is Head, Marketing & Retail, Lifestyle Retailing Business Division. He is responsible for the Retail operations including Retail Development of the Wills Lifestyle chain and John Players retail outlets., as well as sales and distribution of both the brands in the Trade Channel and Key Accounts . He is also Head of Brand Marketing for both the brands.

Prior to this, he was Vice President, Marketing, Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of ITC, handling sales and marketing of cigarettes as well as readymade apparel.

A graduate in Economics from St Xavier's College, Kolkata and MBA from FMS Delhi, Samindra has been with ITC since 1996. He has held various positions in Brand Marketing and has also been District Manager, East, driving ITC's FMCG businesses in the region.

 

Lifestyle Retailing Business Division

Mukul Rastogi Vice President, Human Resource

image of Mukul Rastogi Mukul Rastogi is the Vice President of Human Resources of the Lifestyle Retailing Business Division. Mukul joined ITC in 1989 after completing her Masters in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. She began as a Management Trainee in the Packaging and Printing Division and then moved to the Tobacco Division. During her tenure in the Tobacco Division, she handled a wide range of responsibilities in Industrial Relations, Recruitment and Human Resource Management at the Unit level as well as at Divisional Headquarters. She moved to the Lifestyle Retailing business at its inception in 1999 to head Human Resources.

Mukul has been a member of the CII National Committee on Empowerment of Women at the Workplace for the years 2005-06 and 2006-07. She is a member of the CII National Committee on Education for the year 2008-09 and 2009-10 and is a Member of the HR Committee of RAI (Retailers Association of India).

 

Lifestyle Retailing Business Division

R. Dhamotharan Head, Buying & Merchandising

image of R. DhamotharanR. Dhamotharan is Head of Buying & Merchandising for the Lifestyle Retailing Business Division. He is responsible for Product & Purchase Management, Sourcing, Product Development, Quality and Supply Chain.

Dhamotharan is a graduate in Textile Technology and MBA from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. He has over 20 years of experience across the apparel supply chain from fibre to retail. He joined ITC in March 2011 after working with the Aditya Birla Group, Madura Garments, Arvind Brands, among others. He is also a member of the board of Studies of PSG College of Technology since 2003.

 

Personal Care Products Strategic Business Unit

Sandeep Kaul SBU Chief Executive

image of Sandeep Kaul Sandeep Kaul is the Chief Executive of the Personal Care Products SBU. A Mechanical Engineer from BIT, Ranchi Kaul completed his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and joined ITC in the Marketing function in the India Tobacco Division in 1990. Between 1990 and 1999 Kaul handled a variety of assignments in both Sales as well as Brand Management and has worked in various parts of the country. As Brand Manager he has been responsible for management of leading ITC brands like India Kings, Classic, Gold Flake and Scissors. He has also been Branch Manager at ITC's Delhi and Bengaluru branches. From 1999 to 2001 he headed the Market Research group.

Since 2001 Kaul has been involved with various new business initiatives in the FMCG space. He has been involved since inception of the Personal Care Business in 2002 and has been responsible for the development and execution of the launch of this new business of ITC.

S Balakrishnan Head, Manufacturing

image of S Balakrishnan S Balakrishnan is the Head of Manufacturing, ITC's Personal Care Products Business. A mechanical engineer, he joined ITC's Tobacco Division in 1987 as Management Pupil. During his tenure in the Tobacco business he has handled various assignments in the Technical Function. He was Head of the Projects Team responsible for setting up the Company's largest Cigarette Manufacturing Facility in Bangalore, before becoming the Factory Manager of the Kolkata Cigarette factory. Balakrishnan has been part of Personal Care Products Business since its inception in 2002, involved in the development of its products, establishing the supply chain, including the setting up of ITC's Personal Care Products facilities in Haridwar and Manpura.

Anil Garg Head, Finance

image of Anil Garg Anil Garg holds charge of Finance, Procurement, and IT functions in the Personal Care Products SBU. He has an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University, USA and joined the Company in 1985. The first eight years of his career involved various assignments in operations and projects in the Hotels Division and his last assignment was as that of financial controller of the Windsor Manor expansion project before moving to Corporate Internal Audit in 1993.

Garg had a four-year stint in Corporate Finance during which he was involved in capex/ investment appraisals, corporate planning and performance measurement, and industry trend analysis. He has held an assignment as Head of Finance of Landbase India Limited, a subsidiary of the Company, before moving to a role in Strategic Planning as part of the team engaged in mergers, acquisitions and business structuring activities across the group. Garg has been with the Personal Care Products Business since July 2007.

K Venkat Chief Scientist

image of Dr Krishnan Venkat Dr Krishnan Venkat is the Chief Scientist for ITC's Personal Care Strategic Business Unit. He joined ITC in 2005 with 20 years experience in academic research and industrial R&D. He received his PhD in the USA in 1985 and has been engaged in leading-edge chemical physics research at University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada and University of Zurich, Switzerland. He has also served as a faculty at McGill University, Montreal in Canada. He has over 15 patents and 50 research publications in peer reviewed high impact scientific journals such as the Journal of American Chemical Society, Journal of Physical Chemistry, Journal of Chemical Physics etc. He has made invited scientific contributions at the prestigious Royal Society of Chemistry UK, Faraday Discussion meetings. He has championed many initiatives from concept to products in the Personal Care domain. He believes in the R&D continuum of relevant science and product development culminate in world-class products for the consumer. He is member of several national and international scientific committees and professional bodies.

Nilanjan Mukherjee Head, Marketing

image of Nilanjan Mukherjee Nilanjan Mukherjee is Head of Marketing, Personal Care Products Business. He joined ITC in September 2010 after spending over 19 years in the Sales & Marketing functions of Hindustan Unilever Limited and Reckitt Benckiser in India & Europe, among others. He has been Global Marketing Manager of Dettol and Marketing Director, Hungary during his stint at Reckitt Benckiser. An Electronics & Communication Engineer from NIT Surathkal, Nilanjan did his MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur in 1991. Nilanjan's experience cuts across several categories ranging from Beverages, Soaps & Detergents to OTC Pharmaceuticals.

Atul Joshi National Sales Manager

image of Atul Joshi Atul Joshi is National Sales Manager, ITC Personal Care Products Business. A Post Graduate in Economics, Atul joined ITC in the Marketing function of the Tobacco Division in 1982. He has handled a wide range of responsibilities in Sales and Brand Management cutting across Tobacco, Foods and Personal Care portfolios. He has been involved in the development of training systems in Sales and Distribution . He was also involved in the development of the Foods Business. Atul has played a key role in the incubation and development of Personal Care business, including brands like Essenza Di Wills, Fiama Di Wills, Vivel and Superia.

Chand Das SBU Chief Executive

image of Chand Das Chand Das is the Chief Executive of ITC's Education & Stationery Products Business. Das, an engineer from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, joined ITC in 1980. In his 32-year management career with the Company, he has held multiple positions in Marketing, Business Development & General Management.

Chand is a director of ATC Ltd. and a member of the Pan-IIT Alumni India Board. He is a life member of the All India Management Association and also a life member of the NGO - SOS Children's Villages of India.

Nripendranath Thakur Head - Sales & Marketing

image of Nripendranath Thakur Nripendranath Thakur is Head, Sales & Marketing, Education & Stationery Products Business. He started his career with ITC in 1987 in the tobacco division where he handled multiple responsibilities in sales and supply-chain functions. In 2003, he was appointed as the National Sales Manager for the erstwhile Greeting Card Business and later took over as the Head of Sales & Marketing. In 2005, when the business transformed into the Education & Stationery Products Business, he was instrumental in setting up the distribution system and played a crucial role in developing 'Classmate' as the leading Notebook Brand in the country.

A K Chowdhury Head - Operations

image of A K ChowdhuryA K Chowdhury is Head, Operations, Education and Stationery Products Business. An Electrical Engineer from Jadavpur University, he joined ITC in 1982 at the Munger Printing Factory after a brief stint at the Gramophone Company of India.

Chowdhury has held multiple positions in Engineering, Manufacturing systems re-design & new product development in his long career in ITC. At present, he is responsible for outsourcing, new product development & quality assurance of the Education and Stationery Products Business.

Thomas Mathew Head - Human Resources

image of Thomas MathewThomas Mathew is the Head of HR for Education & Stationery Products and Matches & Agarbatti Businesses. Mathew completed his Masters in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai in 2000 and joined ITC in 2001.

During his tenure in ITC, he has anchored a variety of roles & responsibilities including Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management, Learning & Development & Organization Integration projects.

In 2010, he moved out of Tobacco Division to anchor the role of Manager, HR for all the Chennai based businesses. He is in the current assignment since                                                    July 2011.

Venktesh Kumar Head, Supply Chain and Logistics

image of Venktesh KumarVenktesh Kumar is Head, Supply Chain and Logistics, Education and Stationery Products Business. An alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and IIM Ahmedabad, he has been with ITC for over four years. With extensive experience in Consumer Goods, Retail and Manufacturing across geographies, Venktesh's expertise is in the area of Strategic Network Design, Multi Channel Supply Chain Design and Supply Chain Performance Management. During his tenure with ITC, he has worked on large scale Supply Chain improvement programmes for various divisions.

In his prior stint as Head of Value Chain Management for ITC's FMCG businesses, he was instrumental in setting up Supply Chain Design, Planning and Performance Management processes and systems. He was also involved in setting up Supply Chain consulting practice for the Infotech business where he led the co-innovation, with SAP Labs, of an award winning Supply Chain Performance Management product based on Supply Chain Operational Reference (SCOR) model and Balance Scorecard framework. He joined ITC with over nine years of experience as a Consultant in Retail, Consumer Goods and Manufacturing Industries with Infosys. He is actively associated with various Supply Chain Industry forums, like Supply Chain Council and CII, in developing Supply Chain Standards and Frameworks.

Sanjeev Seksaria Head, Finance

image of Sanjeev SeksariaSanjeev Seksaria is Head of Finance, Education & Stationery Products Business. A qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost and Works Accountant and Company Secretary, Seksaria started his career with ITC in 1998 with Corporate Internal Audit. Over the years he has handled various responsibilities in Finance and commercial functions of the Company including that of Assistant Manager, Finance, Taxation; Corporate Accountant; and Finance Manager, Eastern District. In 2009, he assumed his current role.

V M Rajasekharan SBU Chief Executive

image of V M Rajasekharan V M Rajasekharan is the Chief Executive of the Matches & Agarbatti Strategic Business Unit. He joined ITC's Packaging and Printing Division in 1986. Before joining ITC, he worked with M. M. Rubber's BOPP division from 1980 to 1986 after graduating in Chemical Engineering from Annamalai University.

He has held various responsibilities in operations, domestic sales, planning and technology development in the Packaging and Printing Division. He was on the management committee of that Division before taking over as the Chief Executive of the Agarbattis business at its inception. He additionally took over as the Chief Executive of the Safety Matches SBU in December 2010.

Abhijit Chakravorty Head - Marketing

image of Abhijit Chakravorty Abhijit Chakravorty is Head of Marketing for ITC's Matches & Agarbatti Strategic Business Unit. He started his career in advertising at JWT Ltd in 1994 after completing his MBA in Marketing. Before joining ITC in December 2001, he was working as a Group Product Manager in the packet tea business of the Duncans' Group.

In ITC, Chakravorty has played a number of roles in ITD including Brand Manager - Wills Classic, Navy Cut, Bristol and Berkeley, and Branch Manager - Calcutta. Before joining his current responsibility in July 2010, Chakravorty spent four years as Marketing Manager at Surya Nepal Private Limited – one of the largest private sector companies in Nepal and a subsidiary of ITC Limited, looking after the entire tobacco and garments portfolio of the company.

Surendra Kumar Sipani Head - Finance

image of Surendra Kumar Sipani Surendra Kumar Sipani is the Head of Finance for the Matches & Agarbatti Strategic Business Unit and also holds responsibility as Head-Finance & Company Secretary of WIMCO Limited, a subsidiary of ITC Limited. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary.

Sipani joined ITC in 1997 in the Tobacco Division and has held responsibilities in various areas of Finance and Commercial functions. He was Assistant Manager, Finance, at Munger and Bangalore factories and was at Head Office as Assistant Manager - Indirect Taxes and Commercial Manager handling Capex and Insurance. He was also Commercial Manager at Kidderpore factory.

A Soundara Rajan Head - Operations

image of A Soundara Rajan A Soundara Rajan is the Head of Operations, Matches & Agarbatti SBU since July 2011. He is a post graduate in management and has a decade of experience in marketing at Ranbaxy. Soundara Rajan joined ITC in 1996 as Regional Manager (Marketing) in the Paperboards and Specialty Papers Division (PSPD) at Chennai and later took over as Head (Marketing) for the acquired Kovai unit in 2004. He was the Project Manager for SAP between 2007 and 2009 and became DGM (International Sales) in September 2010 before taking over as the Head of Operations at Matches and Agarbattis SBU. At present, his key focus areas are Capacity Planning & Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Development, Supply Chain Networks, Sustainability and People                                                     Development.

V S Thyagarajan Marketing Manager

image of V S Thyagarajan V S Thyagarajan is the Marketing Manager, Matches & Agarbatti Strategic Business Unit. He joined ITC in 1988. In his long stint in the Trade Marketing and Distribution function of the Company, he has had extensive experience of markets across the country. He has held various key positions like that of Trade Marketing Information Manager and Branch Manager, Hyderabad before taking over as the Marketing Manager.

Nakul Anand Executive Director and Divisional Chief Executive

image of Nakul AnandNakul Anand was appointed a Director on the Board of ITC on January 3, 2011. He holds responsibility of the Hospitality, Travel & Tourism Businesses of ITC. He continues to Chair the DMC of the Hotels Business. An Economics Honours graduate from Delhi University with an AMP degree from Bond University, Australia, he joined ITC Hotels' Management Training Programme in the summer of 1978 and also served as the Managing Director of erstwhile ITC Hotels Ltd. during the period 2003-05.

In a career that spans over three decades, Anand has been acknowledged for his vision and commitment. Leveraging the significant learning of sustainable excellence within ITC, he pioneered the concept of 'Responsible Luxury' in the hospitality industry that led to the LEED Platinum certification of all ITC super premium luxury hotels, making it the 'Greenest Luxury Hotel Chain in the world'. Anand is widely recognised for excellent people management and team-building abilities. He has formulated value-based strategies to create a unique quality control model. Dipak Haksar Chief Operating Officer

image of Dipak Haksar Dipak Haksar is the Chief Operating Officer, ITC Luxury Collection & WelcomHotels. With an advanced GMP from Cornell University, Haksar began his career at ITC Maurya, New Delhi in 1978. During his long tenure in ITC, he has held numerous positions managing both leisure and business properties. From ITC Maurya he moved to ITC Windsor, Bengaluru, a hotel he nurtured as Resident Manager before moving to Rajputana Sheraton, Jaipur as Manager and then to Umaid Bhawan Palace as General Manager. He spearheaded the launch of ITC Maratha in Mumbai which won the 'Best Luxury Business Hotel' award in its first year of operation. Also, during his tenure as Vice President, Operations, Hotels Division and General Manager, ITC Maurya - the division's flagship property, underwent a metamorphosis in both product and service design, to emerge as one of the leading premium luxury business hotels. His customer focus, warmth and people management qualities have won him the H&SS National Award for 'Best General Manager'.

After graduation, Hariharan began his career in Food Specialties Ltd. in Sales & Distribution, where he worked for a few years. Thereafter, he pursued an MBA and joined ITC Hotels as a Marketing Management Trainee in 1986. Over the years, he has handled a wide range of responsibilities encompassing Sales, Electronic Distribution, Online Marketing ,Product Development and Brand Management. In 2003, he assumed charge of the Sales & Marketing function.

Arun Pathak is Executive Vice President - Finance, IT and Procurement for the Hotels Division. He joined ITC in 1983. He is a Chartered accountant and has handled several responsibilities in the Cigarettes, Leaf Tobacco, Paperboards and Specialty Papers and Foods businesses before joining the Hotels Division in 2007. In addition to overseeing his portfolios for the hospitality business , Pathak is part of the leadership team engaged with actualizing the growth objectives of the business.

Mohan S Bhatnagar Executive Vice President, Growth & Development

A graduate from St. Stephen's College, Delhi and an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi, he joined ITC's Hotels business in 1975. He has handled a gamut of responsibilities in Projects and Finance. He took over as Head of Finance, along with IT & Purchase, in 1997. He was also Team leader for Product Development and Standardisation. In 2007, he took charge of Growth & Development as Head, responsible for expansion & growth of the Hotel business, through acquisitions, Joint Ventures and Management Contracts. He is a Chartered Account by profession. Over the years, he has handled a wide range of responsibilities including that of Financial Controller, Finance Manger - Projects, Executive Assistant to Chairman - Hotels Division and Divisional Controller before taking over as the Finance Head of the business in 1992. Subsequently, As Executive Vice President, his portfolio included Finance, Treasury, Audit, Legal and Information Technology. As Executive Director on the Board of erstwhile ITC Hotels Limited, he was responsible for Projects, Development & Investments.

He is currently a Director on the boards of International Travel House Ltd, Adyar Gate Hotels Ltd, Gujarat Hotels Ltd, Srinivasa Resorts Ltd, Fortune Park Hotels Ltd, Maharaja Heritage Resorts Ltd, Bay Island Hotels Ltd, Mansingh Hotels & Resorts Ltd and Managing Director of Landbase India Limited.

Alwyn R Noronha Executive Vice President, Projects

image of Alwyn R Noronha Alwyn R Noronha is Executive Vice President – Projects, Hotels Division. Noronha joined ITC in 1976 just after graduating in Electrical Engineering. During his long tenure, he has handled senior Operational Engineering assignments and played a key role in the construction of almost all the ITC Hotel properties. He also initiated modernization, technology and quality upgradation in various operating hotels. He played an important role in achievement of LEED Platinum rating for all ITC Hotels.

Gautam Anand Vice-President, Pre-opening Operations

image of Gautam AnandGautam Anand is Vice-President, Pre-opening Operations, Hotels Division. He joined ITC in 1980 as a management trainee and was posted at Chennai, Hyderabad and Delhi. He was instrumental in the commissioning of ITC Kakatiya, Hyderabad in 1995 and headed the property as General Manager for five years. In 2000, he took charge of ITC Maurya, New Delhi as Vice-President and General Manager. In 2005, Anand shifted to the Divisional HO to head a cross-functional team as Vice President, Operational Support & Quality. In his current assignment as head of pre-opening services, he has successfully launched ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru and is currently engaged with the pre-opening preparedness of ITC Grand Chola, Chennai. This is likely to be followed by ITC Green Bharat, Gurgaon. Currently on the anvil is the operations planning for ITC Kolkata II and several other ITC Hotels' greenfield projects.

In addition, he heads the Hotel Divisions Product Committee and is the editor of the much acclaimed WelcomZest Magazine and also collaborates on its e-version, WelcomZest lounge.

Anil Sharma Vice President, Human Resource

image of Anil Sharma Anil Sharma is Vice-President, Human Resources at ITC's Hotels Division. He joined ITC in 1985. A gold medalist from Punjab University with a Master's degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from University Business School, Chandigarh, Sharma began his career with a public sector undertaking, followed by Ranbaxy and Modi Cement. Primarily having worked in the Human Resources Function at ITC, Sharma spent six years in the Hotels Operation in General Management Assignments. For a period of two years, he worked as the General Manager, Operations, at Fortune Hotels, overseeing Marketing as well.

He also had a brief stint at Corporate HO in Kolkata where he worked as an Executive Assistant to the Chairman. A Lifetime Member of NHRD & NIPM, he often represents ITC's Hotels Division at FICCI, AIMA, FHRAI and the CII.

Sanjay Singh Divisional Chief Executive

image of Sanjay Singh Sanjay Singh is Divisional Chief Executive, ITC Paperboards and Specialty Papers Division. Prior to this he was the Chief Operating Officer of the business. A chemical engineer from IIT Kanpur, Singh joined the erstwhile ITC Bhadrachalam Paperboards Limited as a management trainee in 1977 and rose to become a whole time director in 1999. Consequent to the merger of ITC Bhadrachalam Paperboards Limited with ITC Limited in March 2002, he took charge of the Paperboards & Specialty Papers Division as Executive Vice President (Manufacturing) with responsibility for Bhadrachalam, Tribeni, Kovai and Bollaram units. He has played a vital role in the implementation of TPM and Lean manufacturing in all the units.

A V Rao Head, Projects Department

image of A V Rao A V Rao heads the Projects Department of ITC's Paperboards and Specialty Papers Division (PSPD), and has the additional responsibility for the operations of Kovai, Bollaram and Tribeni units of the division. Rao has previously headed operations at the Bhadrachalam unit for three years. He was instrumental in introducing some of the state-of-the-art technologies that contributed to making the Bhadrachalam unit one of the best mills in the world.

A marine engineer from Andhra University, Rao joined the erstwhile ITC Bhadrachalam Paperboards Limited in 1996, having had an earlier 3-year stint in that company from 1985 to 1988. He has varied experience in maintenance and operations across industries like shipping and textiles apart from spending over 20 years in the paper industry.

R Senguttuvan SBU Chief Executive

image of R Senguttuvan R Senguttuvan is the Chief Executive of the Packaging and Printing Business. A Mechanical Engineer with a PGDM from IIM Bangalore, he joined ITC in 1991 as Assistant Materials Manager. He became Works Manager of the Tiruvottiyur factory and then Vice President of the Packaging & Printing Business before taking charge as Chief Executive. Senguttuvan is also a member of the Governing Council of the All India Management Association.

Pramanick joined ITC in 1997 in the Paperboards and Specialty Papers Division with 15 years experience in other companies like SAIL, JK Synthetics, Kitti Steel, etc. Before moving to the Packaging and Printing Division in 2002, Pramanick was the Chief Manager (Mill Accounts) at the Bhadrachalam Unit.

S Sivakumar Divisional Chief Executive

image of S SivakumarS Sivakumar is the Divisional Chief Executive of the Agri Business Division. He is also the Chairman of Technico Agri Sciences Limited and Vice Chairman of ITC Infotech India Limited and its subsidiaries in the UK and USA.

Topper of the Class of 1983 from the Institute of Rural Management Anand, (IRMA), Sivakumar served a farmers' cooperative for six years before joining ITC in 1989.

Sivakumar has conceptualised the path-breaking ITC e-Choupal model, and is spearheading its roll out across rural India.

Sivakumar is a Director on the Board of Indo-US Knowledge Initiative in Agriculture. He is a Member of the Private Sector Committee of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), and a Member of Research Advisory Committee of India's National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM). He is also an active member of the management committees of various industry bodies and several taskforces of Government of India.

Rajnikant Rai Chief Operating Officer

image of Rajnikant Rai Rajnikant Rai is Chief Operating Officer, Agri Business Division. Prior to this, he was Executive Vice President, Operations. He was also the national head of the path breaking e-Choupal project. Rai is a graduate in Economics and holds a PG Diploma in International Business Management. He worked in a Government organization in Madhya Pradesh and then with Britannia before joining ITC in 1990. He is Executive Committee Member on several industry bodies and commodity exchanges.

Kuryan G Stephanos Vice President, Finance

image of Kuryan G Stephanos Kuryan G Stephanos is Vice President, Finance of the Agri Business Division. He joined the Company in July 1988 after completing Chartered Accountancy. After a brief stint in the Internal Audit Department, he was assigned various responsibilities in the Finance Function of the Tobacco Division covering Factory and Marketing operations, Costing systems, Indirect Taxes, Financial Accounting and Management Information Systems. In 2007, as Project Leader, he was instrumental in the successful implementation of SAP upgrade across Tobacco, Foods and the Matches and Agarbatti SBUs before moving to head the Finance and IT functions of Agri Business Division - ILTD. In September 2012, he took over as the head of Finance of Agri Business                                                    Division.

L Prabhakar Head, Human Resources

image of L PrabhakarsL Prabhakar is Vice President, Human Resources, Agri-Business Division. An alumnus of NIT, Surathkal and XLRI, Jamshedpur, he has been with ITC for over 17 years. He was also associated with TVS Motors for 3 years and Murugappa Group for 4 years.

During his tenure with ITC, he has worked in Leaf Tobacco Division, Tobacco Division and the Information Technology business. Before moving to his current role, he worked as Manager – Corporate Human Resources at Kolkata for 3 years.

In his 24 years of experience, he has handled a wide range of responsibilities including Industrial Relations, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Social Initiatives and Business Planning.

He is actively associated with National HRD Network and is on the Board of the National Committee for the last 5 years. He is currently the National Treasurer of NHRD and was earlier the Secretary of the Kolkata Chapter.

He has also been co-opted to the Executive Committee of Hyderabad Management Association for the year 2012-13.

S Rangrass Divisional Chief Executive

image of Sanjiv Rangrasss Sanjiv Rangrass took over as Chief Executive of the Agri Business Division – ILTD in July 2010. Prior to this, he was the Chief Operating Officer of the business. Rangrass joined the Company in 1982 after completing his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur. He spent 27 years in the India Tobacco Division in various capacities in the Technical function across manufacturing units and Head Office. From 1998-99, he served as the Head of Bengaluru Factory after which he moved to Head Office as the General Manager, Operations. During 2001-03 he also had a cross functional stint as General Manager, HR, in the Tobacco Division. Prior to moving to Agri Business Division – ILTD , he was Member, Technical, of the Executive Committee of the Tobacco Division. At present, he is on the Board of Governors of IIM Shillong.

He joined the Technical Function of the Division in 1980, when operations were being mechanised. He has been involved in all major projects of ILTD's Technical function, contributing to Project Planning & Management, Maintenance Management, Processing and Factory Management. As Factory Manager at Chirala, he has developed Systems in compliance with SA 8000, OHSAS 18000 and IQRS Level 7. His experience cover Green Leaf Threshing Plants, Material Handling and Storage Systems and Factory Management. Before taking over as Head - Processing and Technology in July 2006, he was Factory Manager at Chirala. Ramakrishna is                                                    a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers.

Ravi Srinivasan Vice President, Human Resource

image of Ravi SrinivasanRavi Srinivasan is Vice President, Human Resource, Agri Business Division - ILTD. After receiving a Masters degree in Personnel Management & IR from Xavier Institute of Social Services, Ranchi, he joined ITC in 1988. Prior to that, he worked with a NGO – Voluntary Health Association of India and then with the Punjab Agro Industries Corporation as Manager, Manpower Development. He joined ITC's Manpower Development Group and was involved with the training and development initiatives. From 1992 to 1994, he was Staff Training and Development Manager with the Tobacco Business. From 1994 till 2008, he was part of the Corporate Human Resources Team as General Manager (Training & Development). His key responsibilities included identifying, designing, resourcing and anchoring key development initiatives for ITC Managers. In 2008, he took over as Head of Human Resources for Agri Business Division - ILTD.

Srinivasan is a visiting faculty with the Organizational Behaviour department of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is an External Expert on the National Institute of Design's admission panel for the past ten years.

He is a certified MBTI Process Facilitator, Counselor, Internal Facilitator and certified Assessment and Development Centre Anchor.

Pinaki Mukherjee Vice President, Finance & IT

image of Pinaki MukherjeePinaki Mukherjee is Vice President, Finance & IT, Agri Business Division - ILTD. A qualified Chartered Accountant, Mukherjee joined ITC in 1987 in the Finance function. He spent his first 9 years in various assignments in Operations of the cigarette factories in Munger and Bengaluru and then in Projects focussing on induction of technology and construction of the greenfield cigarette factory in Bengaluru.

In 2000 he moved to Corporate Internal Audit where he played a critical role in strengthening the quality of risk management processes through comprehensive evaluation of the effectiveness of internal control systems and governance processes in the various businesses of the Company and its subsidiaries.

Mukherjee moved back to Tobacco business as the Head of Finance - Operations to play a key role in critical areas of Indirect Taxation and in supporting the execution of business deliverables and growth initiatives of the cigarettes business. In 2012, he took over as the head of Finance & MIS, Agri Business Division - ILTD.

DVR Rajiv Mohan Vice President, Exports and Supply Chain

image of DVR Rajiv MohanDVR Rajiv Mohan is Vice President, Exports and Supply Chain, Agri Business Division - ILTD. He joined the Company in 1988 and has been involved in various assignments in Leaf buying and classification operations, Leaf Tobacco exports and in the Spices business.

He took over as General Manager, Exports, in 2002 and has worked towards significantly enhancing ABD-ILTD's global presence through an aggressive market expansion and customer acquisition strategy. This has lead to a fivefold increase in export turnover in 7 years, with an export footprint in all continents covering major international customers. From 2004 to 2011, he was also instrumental in developing the Spices business with specific focus on introducing a customized supply chain and differentiated products and services, resulting in a rapid scale up of the business in domestic and export markets. At present, he handles the entire supply chain operation of the Leaf Tobacco business in addition to his responsibility of further strengthening the leaf tobacco exports.

A graduate in Commerce and an MBA from Karnataka University, he was selected as the 'Best Regional Young Manager' in the National Competition for Young Managers conducted by AIMA in 1990.

H N Ramaprasad Vice President, Leaf Operations and R&D

image of DVR Rajiv MohanH N Ramaprasad is Vice President, Leaf Operations and R&D, at ABD-ILTD. Ramaprasad joined ITC in 1988 after completing his post graduation in Agriculture from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore. He took up his current assignment in July 2012. Prior to this assignment, he has worked in various capacities in different regions of ILTD, covering the entire leaf tobacco supply chain and has also worked in the Tobacco Division Head Office from 2001 to 2008, as Divisional Manager - Leaf, based in Kolkata.

He moved back to ILTD - Guntur in October 2008, and took charge as General Manager - Leaf Operations, with overall responsibility for Crop Development, Procurement, Leaf Utilization and Product Management across the three leaf operation units.

Ramaprasad, with his in-depth and intuitive knowledge of the Tobacco crop and the related commodity cycle, brings his expertise to the fore in the areas of Market strategy, stakeholder management and team development.
