These unscrupulous elements are now seeking to defraud members of the public by unauthorised use of the brand name, Dermafique, and the brand image, through inter alia, telephone calls and messages over WhatsApp. In order to achieve their goals, these fraudsters have been communicating special or promotional offers of Dermafique products to members of the general public (such as free prizes like laptop, fridge, TV and others, large refunds, etc.). These messages/ communications may incorporate links to the official Dermafique website (dermafique.com) to create a misleading impression that the purchaser is availing a legitimate offer. However, the fraudsters require a separate payment process (by way of links, seeking personal and/or financial details or various other such modes).
ITC Limited has not authorised anybody to solicit these activities and such fraudulent activities are punishable offences. Any person coming across such activities are requested to intimate the company at webmaster@itc.in.
The members of the public are hereby cautioned not to deal with any such entity making such fraudulent offers/promises, or to pay or transfer any amount on the basis of such offer/promise. Anyone dealing with such fake messages/emails/websites, etc. would be doing so at his / her own risk and ITC shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage suffered by such persons.
