This award recognises ITC e-Choupal as an exemplary contribution towards development
and poverty alleviation leveraging Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
Corporate Social Responsibility Award from The Energy and
Resources Institute (TERI) 2005
ITC has won this prestigious award from TERI for its celebrated e-Choupal initiative.
It provides impetus to sustainable development and encourages ongoing social
responsibility processes within the corporate sector.
Greentech Safety Gold Award in the Manufacturing Category
2004-05
ITC's leaf processing plant at Chirala has won this award for the third time, in
recognition of ITC's outstanding track record in the areas of Occupational Health and
Safety.
