Anil Rajput
President, Corporate Affairs, ITC Limited
Anil Rajput is a Member of the Corporate Management Committee and President – Corporate Affairs at ITC Limited. He joined ITC in 1976 and, over the course of five decades, has held diverse leadership roles across functions and businesses of the Company.
An alumnus of the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University, Anil began his career in the finance function and was seconded in 1983 to International Travel House Limited as part of its start‑up team. During his tenure with International Travel House Limited, he assumed charge as General Manager – Travel and was instrumental in building its domestic network across India. Following the completion of his secondment in 1989, he was assigned responsibilities in ITC’s Hotels Division as Divisional Project Controller, handling key areas including finance, projects and development. In this role, he was closely associated with several landmark hotel projects, including ITC Grand Maratha, Mumbai; ITC Sonar, Kolkata; and ITC Grand Central, Mumbai.
In 2003, he held the position of Vice President – Project Finance & Development before transitioning to the Corporate Affairs function as Vice President, Corporate Affairs. He has been heading the Corporate Affairs Division since 2007 and is the first Corporate Affairs leader of ITC to be designated as its President.
As President, Corporate Affairs, he represents ITC across major industry chambers, including CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the International Chamber of Commerce. He serves on the Executive Committees of FICCI, ASSOCHAM and PHD, and chairs or co‑chairs various sectoral committees within these chambers. He is also Chairman, Bharat Ki Soch, and Chairperson, Advisory Council, Illness to Wellness Foundation.
Anil holds memberships in academic and professional organisations such as the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) and Skal International. He is the Secretary of the Cuisine India Society and has served as a Non‑Executive Director on the Board of International Travel House Limited, an erstwhile subsidiary of ITC Limited.
