SBU Chief Executive - Fresh Food Business

Rohit Bhalla serves as the Chief Executive of ITC’s newly established Fresh Food Strategic Business Unit, effective January 2026. An IIT Delhi alumnus, he joined ITC in 2006 through campus placement and has worked across diverse roles within the Company, including supply chain, operations, process excellence and category development.

Following a sabbatical to complete a one-year management programme at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Rohit returned to ITC and was instrumental in incubating and scaling the Fresh Food Business. Drawing on entrepreneurial frameworks and a Lean Startup approach, the focus was on disciplined experimentation, rapid learning and business model development to establish new vertical within ITC’s portfolio.
