Desh Ek Raag 2 - An Ode to the Nation

Celebrating the 79th Independence Day, ITC and the ITC Sangeet Research Academy (SRA) proudly present Desh Ek Raag 2 - a soulful ode to our Nation. For nearly five decades, ITC SRA has preserved the timeless Guru-Shishya Parampara, nurturing Hindustani classical music under the guidance of eminent Gurus. Upholding this priceless cultural heritage, the Academy continues to blend tradition with progress, inspiring unity and pride. This year's presentation opens with a traditional Guru Vandana, bringing together Gurus, Teachers, and Scholars of ITC SRA with acclaimed exponents of Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi, and Odissi. Set in Raag Desh, the performance weaves Hindustani vocals, Indian and Western instruments, and the grace of Indian classical dance into a vibrant tribute to India's rich cultural diversity and enduring spirit.
