2026-02-27

ITC Spices recently concluded its participation at the International Spice Conference 2026, held from 23rd to 26th February in Cochin.

At its stall, ITC presented an immersive experience into the spice value chain, offering visitors a closer look at ITC’s diverse spices portfolio, globally benchmarked, state-of-the-art processing facilities, AI-enabled technological interventions across the end-to-end value chain, robust quality systems, and farmer-centric initiatives - reinforcing its integrated and future-ready approach to spices.

Beyond the stall, ITC also participated in key conference sessions - moderating a panel discussion on crop reports and global demand, bringing valuable perspectives on crop trends, price movements, and emerging opportunities across key spices such as chilli, turmeric, cumin, and pepper - areas where ITC continues to play a crucial role in building secure, scalable, and quality-assured supply chains.

Another key highlight was ITC’s participation in the panel on ‘Smart Spices: Leveraging AI and Data to Transform Processing, Quality & Efficiency’, underscoring how AI-driven insights, digital advisories, and real-time farm data are strengthening quality, productivity, and transparency across the spices value chain. Through its AI‑enabled Phygital model covering 2.2 Mn+ farmers currently, ITCMAARS continues to advance ITC’s commitment to modernizing agriculture and rural services.

The International Spice Conference serves as a platform for industry stakeholders to deliberate on developments shaping the spices sector, including advancements in farming, processing, digitalisation, farm-to-fork traceability, and sustainability.
