HN Ramaprasad is the Chief Executive of Tobacco SBU - Agri Business, ITC. A Post-Graduate gold medalist from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, Ramaprasad joined ITC in 1988, in the erstwhile Leaf Tobacco Division. Ramaprasad has an MDP from the Executive Education Center, Michigan Business School.

In his long stint of over three decades with ITC, he has held various leadership positions in Leaf Operations and R&D, Manufacturing, Exports, Supply Chain and Growth & Development.

In 2001, he moved to the India Tobacco Division (ITD), where he was responsible for procurement, product development, innovations and launches.

In 2008, he took charge of Leaf Operations and R&D in Guntur, and later took over responsibility for Exports and Supply Chain of the Business. In 2020, he became the Chief Executive of the Tobacco Strategic Business Unit.
