ITC has pioneered the establishment of Green Buildings in India across its iconic hotels, factories, warehouses, residential and office complexes. It is a matter of pride that 40 of these green buildings are LEED Platinum® certified. In our quest to raise the bar even higher, 12 of our hotels have become the first in the world to receive LEED® Zero Carbon certification while 5 are LEED® Zero Water certified. ITC Sankhya in Bengaluru is the first Data Centre to be LEED® Zero Carbon certified.
ITC's green building construction strategies are focused on enhancing energy efficiency and renewable energy, improving indoor environmental quality,
conserving materials and resources, safeguarding water and water efficiency and sustainable site planning. Innovative and efficient design systems have
been adopted along with other construction techniques to reduce energy consumption of buildings and contribute to the health and productivity of its
occupants.
Recognising that LEED Platinum® certified green buildings are 30% more energy efficient and emit 20% less GHG, we have built 40 LEED Platinum® certified Green Buildings
