- Unit Bhadrachalam wins Three Leaves Award for chlorine free technology. This award from the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) was given for pioneering the introduction of new environment-friendly technology and, thereby, eliminating the use of chlorine in the manufacture of pulp. ITC is the first and the only Company in India to implement this green technology. With this new technology, the Company is manufacturing eco-friendly food-grade paper for hygienic food packaging
