We are happy to announce that ITC's Bengaluru and Pune factories recently received the National Safety Council of India's (NSCI) highest 'Five Golden Stars Rating' for outstanding safety performance. The units have also won the NSCI's apex recognition - the 'Safety Shield' - for demonstrating excellence in the Occupational Health & Safety Management System OHS. This achievement is a testimony to our steady commitment to safety practices, built over the years.
The Pune factory has also won the 'Sarva Shreshtha Suraksha Puraskar' (Golden Trophy) at the NSCI Safety Awards 2023 for exemplary Occupational Safety & Health performance, implementing the best organisational safety and health practices, and its efforts towards eliminating workplace injuries.
The prestigious awards were presented recently at a Hyderabad ceremony in presence of Smt I. Rani Kumudini, IAS - Special Chief Secretary to the Telangana Government and Dr Lalit R Gabhane, Director General of National Safety Council of India.
