We are proud to announce that the 'ITC Green Centre Phase 2' project in Bengaluru achieved the first ever Kitemark™ certification for Building Information Modelling (BIM) in India, for Design, Construction and Commissioning. This is also only the fourth project in the world to be awarded this prestigious certification.

BIM is more than creating detailed digital models of buildings - it is about efficiently managing the vast amounts of information that come with these models through the lifecycle of a building, aiding sustainable construction. It is a transformative process that strengthens the digital advancement of the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. It represents a collaborative method of working, and enables AEC professionals to make informed decisions that lead to more efficient planning, design, construction, and management of buildings and infrastructure.

The certification was awarded by the British Standards Institution (BSI), a 100-year-old organization that helps businesses embed excellence, build competence and capability for sustainable growth.
