Mr Sanjiv Puri, Chairman & MD, ITC Limited was honoured with 'The IMPACT Person of the Year, 2020 Award' by the exchange4media Group. The award was presented to him by Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani, Hon'ble Minister for Women & Child Development, GOI, at a ceremony in New Delhi on December 2, 2021.
This coveted title has been awarded to the best names from the Indian industry, to distinguished persons whose actions have far reaching impact in the foreseeable future. Mr Puri was recognised "for his visionary leadership in transforming the stable and strong conglomerate into a contemporary, agile, innovative, digitally focused future-ready enterprise."
On winning the title, Mr Puri, said, "I am deeply touched by this recognition and honour. And it is an immense privilege for me and everyone at ITC to be receiving this award from one of the most prolific and impactful political leaders of today's times, Smriti Irani. I would like to dedicate this award to everyone at ITC and all stakeholders, from whom I draw immense strength.
